The moment or scene that affected me was when the narrator talked about how they have helped a child with malaria by assisting in the blood transfusion, being able to save the child. The scene affected me by helping me envision how dismal the healthcare situation of the refugees is and how desperately they need services. I also was affected by the last few seconds in the video where the narrator said that helping these people also helps them get through the day (MSF Canada, 2016). I feel for the health care providers and volunteers who are working with this vulnerable group. It must have been difficult for them, but I know that their passion for serving and commitment to providing care to the needy is more critical; otherwise, they will not work in these areas. The scene tugged my heart, knowing that there are noble providers who want to be working in depressed areas. This also inspires me as a provider.
